Effective June 1, 2022, Beverly Hills eviction moratorium is over and tenants in Beverly Hills must repay any and all unpaid rent by May 31, 2023. If a tenant fails to repay any unpaid rent by May 31, 2023, the landlord May 30, 2022 charge or collect a late fees, or seek the unpaid rent in small claims court.
If a tenant in Beverly Hills fails to remit payment of the rent for the month of June or thereafter, a landlord is permitted to serve a three day notice to pay rent or quit, but the landlord must still be mindful of any Los Angeles County Moratorium on eviction.
In addition, effective June 1, 2022 landlord’s with Beverly Hills rent stabilized units can increase the rent by 3.1%.
